Rendez Dating: Invite & Meet

Rendez is the dating app where you post real date invites and meet singles who actually show up.

Modern dating apps aren't broken because you can't find people. They're broken because you never actually go on dates.

Rendez fixes that.

Instead of endless swiping, you post a date invite — a real activity, a real place, a real time. Other singles nearby discover your invite and request to join. You choose who comes. Chat unlocks after you accept.

No swiping. No cold messages. No match that never becomes a plan.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Post an invite — pick an activity, a venue, and a time
2. Your invite appears in Discover feed for singles nearby
3. Interested members request to join — you stay in control
4. View profiles and accept the request that feels right
5. Chat unlocks only after acceptance
6. Go on the date

WHAT A RENDEZ INVITE LOOKS LIKE

→ Griffith Park hike, Sunday 9am, looking for 1
→ Coffee crawl through Silver Lake, Saturday afternoon
→ Farmers market + brunch, good conversation required

JOINING A DATE

→ Browse real date invites posted by singles near you
→ Find a plan that fits — pick what appeals to you
→ Request to join — no cold message required
→ The poster reviews requests and chooses who joins
→ Chat unlocks after you're accepted

WHAT MAKES RENDEZ DIFFERENT

→ Invite-first — every connection starts with a plan, not a photo
→ You're in control — no matching algorithm; you choose who joins
→ No cold messaging — conversation starts after both sides say yes
→ Reliability Score — a 90-day attendance badge that shows who actually follows through

SAFE BY DESIGN

→ Photo verification required for every profile
→ Block and report available on every profile and in every chat
→ No messaging before both sides agree to a plan
