Trip Reports
Ask RestMap to review a saved plan and write a day-by-day report with timing,
stops, weather context, decision points, and a clear plan check. Review what will
be sent before creation, then keep the report in the app or share its PDF. Your
first Trip Report is included without a Premium purchase.

Offline Trip Packs
Save route guidance, planned stops, IQ scores, forecast and
daylight snapshots, sourced place facts, and a one-page glovebox card for one
trip. Saved guidance and content remain available when coverage drops. Live
traffic, live rerouting, changed hours, and forecast updates need a connection
and resume when coverage returns. Each Trip Pack saves selected content for one
trip.

Trip Library
Search saved and completed trips, revisit saved Trip Reports, and export
supported trips to GPX or Calendar.

Freshness-aware place details
Where sourced place details are available, RestMap shows when they were checked,
marks aging information, and withholds conflicted facts rather than presenting
them as certainty. Deep Inspect runs a deeper pass on a place you are
considering, with more sources and more fresh checks.

WORLDWIDE, WITH HONEST COVERAGE
RestMap works worldwide using best-available data. Its scoring and trip-planning
defaults are most extensively tuned for the United States, Canada, United
Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and France. Previously
loaded free-map data may remain available offline; coverage varies by area and
source.

PRIVACY WITH A CLEAR CHOICE
No account required. Precise location is used on your device for nearby results
and navigation; RestMap does not store it as a travel history on its servers.
Trip Reports are created only when you ask. Before sending reviewed
trip information - including opaque report stop/place IDs and approximate public-place stop locations - for AI
processing, RestMap shows the AI report data and the separate same-place Inspector
matching envelope, including which stop/place/name/type fields appear in both and
which additional exact fields stay with RestMap. No ads. No
cross-app tracking.
