Retaz: Human Music Curation

Retaz brings the world to you, in your language, without flattening it. Comments and messages translated from 200+ languages.

Every playlist on Retaz is made by a person, not a machine. Real people around the world build the playlists, write why each one matters, and champion the music they love. No AI decides what you hear. People do.

FREE ON EVERY ACCOUNT

Create and share playlists. Build one on your phone from the songs you love, write the note that says why it matters, and share it anywhere.

Browse playlists by name. Every playlist carries a curator's note in their own words, so you know who made it and why. Follow the curators whose taste you trust, and read the comments on the playlists you browse, in the language each person wrote them in.

Listen in full through your own Apple Music. Tap any track to play the complete song in your own active Apple Music subscription. Retaz streams no audio itself. Want a taste first? Every track offers a short preview.

Discover more, matched to what you save and play. Retaz surfaces curators and playlists close to the music you already reach for. Whatever it surfaces was still made by a person.

Hear the whole world. Retaz speaks your language from the very first screen, in 200+ languages.

WITH MEMBERSHIP

Membership is your seat at the curation table. It opens October 15, 2026, as a yearly subscription billed by the App Store in your own currency. The La Chispa founding price covers your first year. After that it renews each year at the standard yearly price, shown in the app before you subscribe, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the year ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account. Look under Settings, Membership.

Vote with a heart. One heart per playlist, every heart equal weight, and you can heart as many playlists as you love. The playlists a real community loves rise to the top. A membership buys no extra weight, and there is no way to buy a second heart. You have a day to change your mind (or until La Chispa closes, whichever comes first), and after that a heart is final, so a leaderboard means something.

Talk with curators. Leave a comment, and message other members directly. If you do not follow each other yet, your first message arrives as a request they can accept or decline. Messages are a members feature on both sides.

Read it all in your language. Comments and messages reach you in your language, from any of the 200+ languages. The world arrives intact.

Founders who join during Early Access (open through October 14, 2026, for the first 50,000) keep their first year of membership free and can earn a second year with the Founding Curator badge.

LA CHISPA

La Chispa is the founding playlist recognition event. It opens October 17, 2026, closes at the end of November 16, 2026 (US Eastern), and the Global Champion is announced December 1, 2026. Public playlists created inside the window compete on hearts, and members cast the hearts. La Chispa is sponsored and run by Retaz LLC, a West Virginia company in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Apple is not a sponsor of La Chispa and is not involved in it in any manner. The official rules are published in the app before it opens.

BUILT FOR TRUST AND SAFETY

Retaz is an 18+ community. Report playlists, profiles, comments, and messages in a tap, block anyone, and count on human review. Create your account with Apple or Google. Delete it, and export your data, whenever you want, right from the app.

A NOTE ON HOW IT WORKS

AI keeps Retaz honest and speaks your language. It never picks your music, and never writes a playlist.

Playlists are created on your phone, which is how we can promise that machine-made playlists cannot be created here.

Welcome to Retaz. Come hear what people are championing.
