Rock Identifier: Minerals AI

Honest rock, mineral, and crystal identification that tells you when it's not sure.

Snap any specimen for an AI identification with a confidence bar, top-2 alternatives, Mohs hardness, and a built-in 30-second field test to verify what you found. Built for rockhounds, crystal buyers, and families — not generic "stone ID" apps that hand back the same name for every photo.

▸ IDENTIFICATION YOU CAN ACTUALLY TRUST
We surface uncertainty instead of hiding it.

• Confidence bars on every scan — green / yellow / red so you know when to pack it home vs. verify
• Top-2 alternatives always shown with their own confidence scores
• Dyed howlite, heat-treated citrine, glass imitations — flagged automatically so retail scams don't slip past
• Mohs hardness with a household tool reference (fingernail 2.5, steel nail 5.5, glass 5.5)

▸ VERIFY IN 30 SECONDS
Every result card has a one-tap walk-through for the most diagnostic field test.

• Hardness scratch with coins, nails, and glass
• Streak on unglazed ceramic tile
• Magnet test for magnetite / hematite
• White-vinegar fizz test for calcites, limestone, marble
• Confirmed tests add a verified badge to your collection

▸ THREE MODES, ONE SCAN
Same AI result — the framing that fits you.

• Geologist — hardness, streak, crystal system, formula, rock type, formation context
• Crystal — traditional chakra + associations + care notes (clearly labeled "traditional belief, not scientific")
• Kids — one-sentence summary, hardness in stars, fun fact, metaphysical content hidden

▸ COLLECTION THAT REMEMBERS
Every scan saved locally. Filter by rocks, minerals, crystals, fossils, or unverified. Export the whole collection as CSV.

▸ FREE / PREMIUM
