Rolltake - Teleprompter

Rolltake is a teleprompter that gets out of your way. Write your script, hit play, and read - smooth scrolling, a clean reading line, and controls that fade until you need them.

Free. No ads, no account, no subscription, no internet required. Your scripts stay on your phone.

READ WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE
- Ten speed levels instead of a vague slider, remembered per script
- Drag to scrub anywhere in the script, with flick momentum
- Flubbed a line? One tap jumps back a sentence
- Tap to pause, tap to resume
- Countdown before scrolling starts, so the first line waits for you
- Elapsed and remaining time while you read
- Adjustable reading line so your eyes stay near the lens
- Screen stays awake for the whole take

MADE FOR REAL RIGS
- Mirror and vertical flip for beam-splitter teleprompters
- Amber and green themes for classic glass, Paper theme for bright rooms, Night for dim ones
- Four typefaces tuned for reading at a distance: Sans, Serif, Rounded, Mono
- Appearance and speed are saved per script, and your latest setup carries over to new scripts

HANDS-FREE CONTROL
- Works with Neewer teleprompter remotes over Bluetooth
- Works with HID keyboard remotes: presentation clickers, page-turner rings and pedals, Bluetooth keyboards, even game controllers
- Play, pause, speed, and back-a-sentence without touching the phone

SCRIPTS, HANDLED
- Import .txt and Markdown files
- Export scripts to share or back up
- Search, sort, and duplicate from the script list
- Editor autosaves as you type - backgrounding the app never loses a draft
- Spot a typo mid-take? Edit straight from the prompter and pick up where you were

WHO IT'S FOR
YouTubers and video creators reading to camera. Podcasters and streamers. Speakers rehearsing a talk. Anyone recording a wedding toast, a course, a pitch, or a eulogy who wants to sound like themselves instead of sounding read.

Rolltake does one thing: it prompts. No watermarks, no recording gimmicks, no upgrade nags. Open it, load your words, press play.
