In Croatia a motorboat must be at least 300 metres from the coast to go faster than 8 knots; closer in, planing is not allowed. Sailor shows the distance continuously, can highlight the 300-metre zone around your boat, and warns you when you are going too fast close to shore.

Sailor is a navigation aid, not a substitute for official nautical charts, a proper lookout or good seamanship. It contains no depth data — routes and navigation account for neither water depth nor your vessel's draft. Distance, coastline and hazard data are estimates and may be inaccurate, delayed or incomplete; not all hazards are shown. Keep a comfortable margin rather than testing the limit.
