WHAT IS IN IT
- The five daily prayers, and sunrise
- A countdown to the next prayer
- A Qibla compass that tells you which way to turn, and turns green when you are facing it
- A timetable of every day, with Hijri dates, going forward without end
- Twelve calculation methods, already set to the one used where you are
- Follows you when you travel, if you want it to
- Notifications you can turn off altogether, or leave on and silence Fajr and sunrise on their own
- A 12 or 24 hour clock
- Standard or Hanafi Asr
ABOUT THE CALCULATION
Fajr and Isha depend on how far below the horizon the sun sits, and different authorities set that angle differently, which is why two apps can disagree by several minutes. Sajda shows both angles for every method, so what you are choosing is visible rather than hidden behind a name.
If the times look wrong, it is almost always the method. Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are the same under all of them, so if only Fajr or Isha are out, changing the method will fix it.
Sajda has been on the App Store since 2015. This version is a rebuild.
