Sanskrit Lexicon is free to download and use. Every reader gets 3 dictionary searches a day, plus the Word of the Day, favorites, personal notes, declension tables, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, the widget and iCloud sync. Context searches on a word you have already opened never count toward the daily three.

FOLLOW THE WORDS AN ENTRY NAMES
Where a definition names other words, a Related line makes them tappable, and a Related Definitions group gathers entries elsewhere that name the word you are reading.

SEARCH THE WAY YOU TYPE
• Use Devanagari, IAST, Harvard-Kyoto, Velthuis, WX, SLP1 or plain ASCII.
• Type "krishna" to find kṛṣṇa; no diacritics or special keyboard required.
• Type a declined noun or a conjugated verb and its root comes up with the grammar.
• The best match is marked, and similar words follow when the spelling is off.
• Explore noun declension tables without leaving the word.
