BUILT ON THE EVIDENCE

Choose a board size that suits your child. Sayella is built on a research-based core vocabulary, with each word in a consistent position so selecting it becomes automatic. Pick a grid size from Small to Largest, from 28 buttons up to 96, and the full set of core words for that board is always shown, with nothing hidden or greyed out. When a communicator is ready for more, you choose a bigger board.

Modified Fitzgerald colour key. Buttons are colour-coded by part of speech automatically and consistently, with red reserved for stop, no and help. Colour is never the only signal: every button pairs symbol and text.

Grows with your child. One system from emergent communicator to text-based user, with no starting over. As your child grows, you simply choose a bigger board.

Not babyish. Age-tiered themes and vocabulary serve a young child, a teen and an adult on the same engine, without infantilising anyone.

ACCESSIBILITY IS FIRST-CLASS

Switch access and scanning from launch: linear, row-column and group scanning; automatic, step and inverse methods; adjustable scan rate and timing; a high-contrast configurable highlight; and auditory scanning with separate navigation and message voices. Full VoiceOver support, high-contrast and CVI-friendly presets, Reduce Motion respect, and a calm, complete board with no hidden or greyed-out buttons.
