Description by Carl Espeter(from the App Store)
SCHOCKEN, the way it should be: together at the table, easy to start and completely free.
This app brings the German pub dice game Schocken to one iPhone. Enter the names of all players, pass the phone after each turn and start playing. The app rolls the dice, evaluates every result and keeps track of the 13 game tokens, both halves and the final.
Made by pub players, for pub players
FEATURES • Local multiplayer with any number of players • One device for the whole group • No registration or account required • Roll by tapping a button or shaking your iPhone • Hold individual dice and keep rolling • Swipe to convert sixes into ones • Automatic scoring of number combinations, straights, three of a kind, Schock and Schock Aus • Automatic management of all 13 game tokens (“Deckel”) • Two halves followed by the final • Hidden results when passing the phone • Built-in game rules • Optional house rules
The first player sets the maximum number of rolls for everyone else in the round. The app evaluates every result automatically and reveals who receives or passes on tokens.
Whether you are at the pub, at home or on the go: enter the names, pass the phone and play SCHOKEN.
