Scriptlight: Teleprompter

Scriptlight puts your script right below the camera, so you look at your audience, not at your notes.

Write or paste your script, press play, and it scrolls past an amber cue line at your own speaking pace. Turn on the camera and record while you read: your takes are saved to Photos, and you can mark the best one.

READS AT YOUR PACE
• Set your speed in words per minute, the way speakers think about it. It stays the same when you change the text size.
• Tap to pause, drag to find your place, and get a short countdown before you start.
• Use a Bluetooth keyboard or presentation remote to play, pause and change speed.

A SCRIPT THAT HELPS YOU PERFORM
• Put *stars* around a word to stress it, // for a breath, # for a new section, and [brackets] for notes to yourself.
• Choose a typeface, text size and margins, a dark or light background, and mirror mode for teleprompter rigs.

RECORD WITH THE MIC YOU USE
• Front or back camera, up to 4K.
• Works with wireless receivers, USB-C and Lightning mics, wired mics and AirPods, with a live level meter.
• If a mic is unplugged mid-take, the take is still saved.
• See every take with its length and pace, and keep track of your best one.

WRITE WITH APPLE INTELLIGENCE (PRO)
• Write a script from an idea, timed to your pace.
• Tighten a script so it's easier to say on camera, or fit it to 30 seconds, a minute or more.

BRING IN SCRIPTS FROM ANYWHERE
• Open text, Markdown and RTF files, or share text from Notes, Pages, Safari and other apps.

MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
• Light and dark mode, large text sizes and VoiceOver.
