SermonSteward: Sermon Writer

SermonSteward is a quiet, dependable home for your sermons, from the first outline on Monday to the pulpit on Sunday and the archive for years to come.

Write in a familiar word processor, preach from a clean, distraction-free view, and always know where and when you last preached a sermon. No markup, no clutter, and no training required.

WRITE NATURALLY
• Headings, bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered lists
• Highlight key lines in six colors
• Scripture references link automatically. Tap one to insert the passage, or look up any passage and drop it in
• Start from your own templates, with a default for your weekly sermon
• Private notes for every sermon
• Export a clean PDF or print your manuscript

PREACH WITH CONFIDENCE
• A distraction-free pulpit view with large, adjustable text
• Scroll or page through your manuscript, with tap, swipe, keyboard and Bluetooth page-turner support
• Dark, Light and High Contrast themes, with adjustable line spacing and margins
• Jump straight to any section of your sermon
• Clock and timer that counts up or down from your time limit, with a gentle warning as time runs short
• Your screen stays awake while you preach

RECORD YOUR SERMON
• Tap Record in Preach Mode to capture your sermon from the iPhone, iPad or Mac microphone, or a connected mic
• Recordings are saved with each sermon. Play them back, share them to your church website or podcast host, or find them in the Files app
• On Mac, add recordings to your Music library, labeled with the sermon, series and preacher

REMEMBER WHERE YOU PREACHED
• Record each time you preach a sermon: church, location, date, occasion and notes
• See at a glance where a sermon was last preached
• Perfect for guest preaching, pulpit supply and re-preaching a sermon years later

ILLUSTRATIONS & QUOTES
• Keep illustrations, quotes, personal stories and historical examples in one searchable library
• Insert them into a sermon in a couple of taps
• SermonSteward tracks where each one was used, so you never repeat a story to the same congregation

ORGANIZED FOR THE LONG HAUL
• Organize by series and tags; rename or merge tags anytime
• Favorites, archive and fast search across every sermon
• A three-column layout on iPad and Mac: library, list and editor side by side
