sharespot: social journal

sharespot is a profile made of what you love.
log media, share what's on your mind, and find the people who love the same things.

your spot
five shelves: movies, shows, music, games, books.
rate anything down to the decimal, write a review, and show what you're watching, listening to, reading or playing right now.
keep a list of what you want to watch, listen to, play and read next.
a diary calendar puts everything you log on the day you logged it.
then make it look like you: your color, your wallpaper, your font, and an anthem anyone can tap to hear.

bring your history
import from letterboxd, serializd, imdb, refract, myanimelist, goodreads, storygraph, spotify, apple music, last.fm, discogs, steam and backloggd.

share the rest
photos, videos, thoughts, gifs and more.

four ways to scroll
home is every public post, newest first, with older ones coming back around so nothing gets buried.
friends is the people you follow, plus people whose shelves look like yours.
rooms are spots for one thing: cats, comedy, k-dramas, whatever you're into. start your own, open to everyone or invite only.
reviews is what everyone's rating and reviewing right now.
see something you love? log it to your own shelf in one tap.

sync
see how much you share with anyone: movies, shows, music, games and books you both love.
then see who you match with most.

streaks and badges
log something every day and watch your streak grow.
hit milestones, collect badges as your shelves fill up, and top a leaderboard for a medal of the month.

collections
save any post into collections you make.
the songs that got you through last winter or cute cat pics.

messages
dm a friend or start a group chat.
mutuals only.

your link
your spot lives at sharespotapp.com/yourusername.
put it in your bio anywhere.

no likes. no follower counts. no ads. nothing about you is for sale.
just what you love, and the people who love it too.
