THE COPY EVERYONE HAS IS THE CURRENT ONE
Plans get printed at load-in and rarely reprinted — just marked up. By show day there can be a dozen versions on site and no reliable way to tell which one is right. Drop the PDF in and every page becomes a sheet the whole crew opens on their own phone. The marks go there instead, so everybody's marks are on the same copy.

IT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Convention centers and arenas have dead spots exactly where crews work — loading docks, back-of-house corridors, the middle of a hall before the wifi is commissioned. Plans and gear lists are stored on the device. Edits sync when signal returns.

ACCESS YOU CAN TAKE BACK
A plan folded into somebody's back pocket still has your client's information on it, and there is nothing you can do about it afterward. Access can be ended — when the show wraps, when a freelancer finishes, when somebody leaves. A freelancer only ever sees the one show they're on: not your client list, not your other jobs, not the company's comms.
