Description
SignalDeck turns the firehose of headlines into a calm, fast daily briefing you can actually finish.
Start from a Drudge-style link stream, tuned around New York–centric sources (NYC, Long Island, Albany, markets, weather) and layer on tools built for focus, not doomscrolling.
• Smart inbox, not a feed – Headlines are grouped into Top Story, Inbox, Focus Queue, Muted, and Saved for Later so you always know what to read next. • Category & topic filters – Flip between categories (World, Politics, Business, Tech, Odd, etc.) and your own saved topics like “NY Transit,” “Money & Markets,” or “Storms” with tap-to-toggle chips. • Time-boxed briefings – Need a quick pass? Tap 5, 10, or 20 minutes and get a tailored list that fits your time budget. • Daily Briefing mode – One curated sequence that mixes top stories and variety so you can clear the deck and move on with your day. • Chill Mode – Hide heavy topics (politics, markets, etc.) for those times when you just want weather, local, and lighter stories. • Focus Queue – Mark important items to a separate “Focus” lane you can clear with keyboard shortcuts or a quick reading sprint. • Notes on headlines – Add notes to any story, then review everything in a dedicated Notes Hub or export your notes as text. • Muted words & phrases – Block the topics you’re tired of seeing; they’re shunted into a separate Muted section instead of your main inbox. • Source control – Enable, disable, reorder, or remove sources entirely. Deleted sources stay gone unless you intentionally add them back. • History & stats – See what you’ve read by day, category, and source, and how many minutes you’ve actually spent reading today.
SignalDeck is built for people who want to skim like Drudge, filter like a pro, and get back to real life—especially around New York and Long Island.
