The HALO app is incredibly easy-to-use with premium features built for advanced photo experiences and business needs. Here's how it works:

As the event host or business owner, you can design custom layouts or "photo booth templates" with ease. Add images, text, a logo or overlay, and frames for your captured photos. Our Layout Designer and free library of themes makes this fun and simple\! Plus, you can choose which types of motion to offer, from still images to GIFs and videos.

Then, personalize the experience from start to finish in the app preset editor or from the online dashboard, customizing everything to your preferences. This includes the start screen, branding & messaging throughout the experience, and even a thank you message at the end. You can go in-depth or keep it simple using our sensible defaults—the choice is yours.

When you're on-site and ready, you can launch your booth\! The Preflight Check screen will help you make sure you didn't miss anything important. At this point, you can connect a DSLR camera for professional portraits, or keep it simple using the iPad camera.

Once you're live, guests can walk up to the photo booth and choose from your layouts and capture their images. The countdown begins, guests pose, and instantly see the results. Then, they can edit their photos with any tools you've enabled—glam, background replacement (AI or green screen), filters, props, stickers, and AI effects. Choose from a growing library of pre-built styles, build your own with AI-generated prompts, or use guest inputs to create personalized AI portraits.

After that, they can choose whether to keep their photos private or include them in the gallery. No other photo booth software on the market puts privacy in the hands of guests like Simple Booth HALO.

Finally, photos are sent directly to guests' phones by their favorite method: QR code, text message, email, AirDrop, WhatsApp. You can also choose to offer prints for guests to take home\!

We've dialed in the formula to make it all work seamlessly, including a robust offline mode (works for all features except AI effects, which require a stable internet connection). Guests simply adore it—coming back again and again to take more photos. At the end, you'll have an amazing online gallery full of stunning images, thanks to proprietary features that improve photo quality like glam, background blur, and filters. Your galleries can be displayed on your Simple Booth profile or streamed to a TV or projector using the Live Feed—a real-time, online slideshow.
