Simple Editor X

Simple Editor X is a simple, intelligent text editor and notepad application. In addition to text entry, Simple Editor X can also check and analyze text.

This application has the following features
・Text-To-Speech
After entering text, you can read it out loud with the text-to-speech function. This is especially useful when you want to check the clarity of sentences and the naturalness of conjunctions. 64 languages are supported, including Japanese, English (US), French (France), etc¹.
On macOS, you can also export to audio files².
・Displays text information
The number of characters, words, and paragraphs can be displayed in real time. In addition, machine learning can be used to identify the language of the text. If you don't know what language it is, you can paste it into Simple Editor X.
With English text, more intelligence in Simple Editor X is unleashed. You can now perform an emotional analysis³ that shows whether the entire text is positive or negative, and you can detect proper nouns, such as the names of people, organizations, and places, and look them up with a single click.
・Synchronization via iCloud
Synchronize texts and settings between iOS, macOS, and visionOS devices so that the same settings can be inherited from any device.
・Easy insertion of canned text
Frequently used canned text can be registered in advance and instantly inserted at the beginning and end. For example, you can efficiently add canned sentences for emails, greetings at the beginning of memos, and other sentences that are used repeatedly.
・Translation
The translation function is an essential part of the smarter Simple Editor X. In addition to displaying translation results, a one-click translation and replace function will be added. (iOS/iPadOS/macOS only)
・Linkage with the Shortcut app
Text information can be analyzed by linking with shortcut apps without having to bother to open the app. For example, if you need to periodically check the number of words or paragraphs in a document, you can easily access the information without opening the app and work more efficiently.
