Singing Streets is the ultimate guide to some of music's greatest cities.
Made by music lovers for music lovers, we reveal well over 5,000 music-related locations across New York, London, Memphis, Dublin, Liverpool, Manchester, Belfast, Birmingham, and Coventry.
With hundreds of Featured Artists and curated tours around these unique cities, spanning all genres and decades, Singing Streets has something for everyone, regardless of your music tastes.
Put together by people with first hand experience of the music scene in each of these cities, let us guide you through the best live venues, music related pubs and everything else they have to offer.
From Dylan in the Village and the historic jazz venues of Harlem to the birth of Hip Hop in The Bronx and indie rock in Brooklyn, we have over 1,700 spots in New York to visit.
In London, you will discover the flat where every Rolling Stone lived; see the streets where Sex Pistols tormented the town; genuflect at one of nine Bowie homes; walk in the footsteps of The Beatles in Soho; discover where The Kinks crossed the street to their destiny; uncover Kate Bush’s elusive haunts; have a drink at Amy Winehouse's favourite Camden pubs; and follow Hendrix’s vapour trail as he changed London, and music, forever.
In Liverpool, we have hundreds of Beatles locations to discover (from where the grew-up, first performed and where they drank), not to mention the city's thriving post-punk and indie scene of the early '80s and beyond.
In Dublin, you can retrace U2's early steps; discover where The Beatles caused a riot at their only ever Irish shows; drink at the pubs The Dubliners and Phil Lynott used to frequent; visit the flats where Nirvana once supported Sonic Youth; and recreate scenes from 'Once' or a classic Cranberries album cover.
In Belfast, we recreate Van Morrison's early life, tell the story of the Belfast Punk scene, and chronicle the city's musical rebirth over the past few decades.
In Manchester, we chart the birth of Joy Division and New Order, and then on to the Madchester scene, Oasis and beyond!
In Memphis, we have all the great Stax, Elvis and Big Star locations.
With Birmingham, our most recent addition, you can discover where Ozzy Osbourne and the other members of Black Sabbath grew up and got started.
Personalise your Singing Streets Profile by selecting your favourite artists and genres, checking into the locations you visit, and you’ll unlock virtual Plectrums (guitar picks) along the way!
Singing Streets also works if you are not in visiting in person. You can plan a future trip by saving locations to your 'Wish List' or exploring our city specific sections to check out hotels steeped in Rock history, peruse music watering holes and discover some of the finest record shops in the world.
You can even use Apple Music to listen to recommended tracks for select locations.
Whether through our interactive map, customizable tours, or simply browsing our extensive directory of locations, Singing Streets is the perfect way to uncover the music of these great cities!
