Skeins by Grant Point

Skeins takes the guesswork out of buying thread for your needlepoint canvas.
Photograph your canvas and Skeins matches each color to real thread and tells you how many skeins to buy — with a smart buffer so you never run short mid-project.

MATCH & ESTIMATE
• Snap or upload a photo of your canvas
• Tap each color to match it to a thread brand and number
• Fine-tune coverage by highlighting areas right on the photo
• Get a clear per-color skein estimate for your mesh count

A STITCH LIBRARY IN YOUR POCKET
• 100+ illustrated needlepoint stitches — and always growing
• How each one is worked, its difficulty and coverage
• Pinch to zoom right in on the numbered stitch order
• Real close-up photos of stitched samples

A LOG THAT LEARNS YOUR STITCHING
• Save every estimate to your canvas log
• Record what you actually used — in skeins or yards
• Skeins quietly tunes future estimates to your personal tension

YOUR STASH, WITHOUT THE TYPING
• Point your camera at a thread tag — brand, color number, name, dye lot and yards per skein fill in for you
• Reads the specialty fibers: Rainbow Gallery, Tilli Tomas, Planet Earth, Silk & Ivory, Pepper Pot, Appleton, Kreinik and more
• Tap your photo to lift the true color straight from the fiber
• Flags a hard-to-read color number for you to confirm instead of guessing wrong
• Cross-references your stash against any estimate, so you only buy what you're missing

SHOP YOUR THREADS
• Build a shopping list from your estimate
• One-tap checkout at connected needlepoint shops
• Or hop to any shop's website with your list in hand

FOR NEEDLEPOINT SHOPS
• A shared shop account for your whole team, on its own plan
• A shared canvas log you can sort by designer
• Email stitch plans straight to your customers
• Add custom threads the catalog doesn't carry

BUILT FOR STITCHERS
• Works with popular thread brands and wools
• Syncs your canvases across your devices
• Your photos are processed on your device
