Smart Glass Finder: Detector

Are there camera glasses nearby? Smart Glass Finder is a smart glasses detector and Bluetooth scanner for iPhone and Apple Watch. Tap Start to see nearby smart glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta, how close they are and how confident the match is.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Privacy-conscious people who want to know when camera glasses are nearby in a café, gym, classroom or meeting.
• Owners of smart glasses looking for a pair they misplaced.
• Anyone curious which Bluetooth devices are around them.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live nearby list: smart glasses appear as soon as their signal is heard and drop off when it goes quiet.
• Proximity at a glance: immediate, near or far, estimated from signal strength.
• Model match with confidence: an estimated model such as Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta or Bose Frames, its confidence level and signal strength in dBm.
• Other Bluetooth devices, grouped: phones & computers, audio, wearables and unidentified.
• Scan history with a map pin: first seen, last seen and where the sighting happened, stored on your device. Entries without a fix say “Location not recorded.”
• Background detection alerts: a notification when glasses are detected while the app is in the background. iOS limits background scanning, so coverage is not continuous.
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island: the live glasses count and estimated nearest distance without opening the app.
• Apple Watch app: start or stop the phone's scan from your wrist and mirror its status. Out of the phone's reach, the watch scans with its own radio while kept onscreen, and history syncs between both devices.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap Start. Smart Glass Finder listens for Bluetooth advertisements around you.
2. Each signal is compared with a catalog of known smart glasses vendors.
3. Matches are listed with an estimated model, confidence and proximity.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Scan results, history and locations stay on your iPhone and, if you use it, your Apple Watch.

FREE AND PRO
Scanning and the nearby list are free. Smart Glass Finder Pro, a one-time purchase, unlocks model details with confidence and dBm, scan history with location, background alerts, the Live Activity and the Apple Watch app.

Detection is based on Bluetooth signatures. Model and proximity are estimates, and the app cannot tell whether a camera is recording.
