Smart Home Life: Tested

Smart Home Life shows you every device in your home, and now lets you control them, across HomeKit, Google Home, and SmartThings, in one app. No subscription.

For a long time this app could only watch your smart home. Now it runs it.

CONTROL YOUR HOME
Tap a light to turn it on, dim it, or change its color. Run a scene with one tap. Set the thermostat, open the shades, switch on a plug. Lock up or open the garage, with Face ID on every lock. Works across HomeKit and SmartThings.

SEE EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
HomeKit, Google Home, and SmartThings devices live in one list, with duplicates merged automatically. A live Home Hub shows temperature, humidity, air quality, what is on, and what is open, all at a glance. Rearrange it however you like.

MADE FOR IPAD
On iPad it is a real layout, not a stretched phone app. A sidebar holds your tabs and every room, so you tap a room and its devices fill the screen, and the Home Hub uses the whole display.

YOUR CAMERAS
Every HomeKit camera in one grid. Tap any one to go live, with pinch to zoom.

YOUR CAR AND ENERGY
Connect your Tesla for battery, range, and charge, with a charging activity on your Lock Screen. Add a Tesla Wall Connector to watch home charging in real time. See what your power grid costs right now and when it gets cheaper, and set a daily water goal.

SIX FREE TOOLS, NO ACCOUNT
Thread network map, device protocol breakdown, room coverage, device lifespan, internet outage alerts, and a Face ID pairing-code vault. Always free.

NO SUBSCRIPTION
The advanced features are one-time purchases, never a subscription. A 7-day free trial unlocks them the first time you open one.

BUILT BY A REAL OWNER
I bought and tested every device myself, 189 and counting. If it fails in my home, it leaves the list.
