Point your camera at a menu, a street sign, or a train timetable and read it in your own language on the spot — the translation sits right on top of the real words as you look. Bad light, or a sign you already photographed? Translate a snapshot or a screenshot from your library just as easily.

Then Snap goes further than an ordinary translator, using AI to handle the things that usually turn a trip into a headache:

- Understand a document. Point it at a rental contract, an official letter, or a form and get a plain-language explanation in your language — so you know exactly what you're agreeing to before you sign.
- Fill in a PDF form. Snap's AI reads the fields, drafts your answers for you to check, and hands back a finished, ready-to-send file — no more squinting at a form in a language you don't read.
- Sell your old things. Photograph a jacket or a bike and AI turns it into a ready-to-post title and description for Vinted, OLX, or Marketplace.

For everything else you run into on the road:

- Translate as you type. The AI keyboard rewrites and adjusts the tone of whatever you're writing inside Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, or email — so you sound natural in any language.
- Speak and be understood. A two-way voice interpreter carries a real conversation both ways and reads translations aloud, so you get the pronunciation right too.

Your privacy: your photos and translations are saved on your phone, not on our servers. Camera text is usually recognized right on your device; anything that does need to be sent — to translate, read a scan, or explain a document — travels over an encrypted connection, is processed and deleted right away, and is never used to train AI.
