Sobremesa: Dinner Questions

Sobremesa puts one good question in the middle of the dinner table.

In Spanish, the sobremesa is the time a family lingers at the table after the meal. Set the phone among the plates or pass it around, and let one card at a time keep everyone talking.

There are 495 cards, all written by hand, in eight kinds: open questions, would you rather, this or that, fun facts, trivia, riddles, small activities and imagine prompts. Swipe for the next card or back to the last one, or lay six out and let the table choose. Tonight's mix decides which kinds are in play: only riddles tonight, no activities at a restaurant.

On the iPad, Both sides draws the card twice, the far half upside down, so an iPad lying flat can be read from across the table. Propped up in landscape, the mix and the cards just played sit beside the stack.

Play in English, Spanish or French, chosen in the app. Twelve themes, each with an evening side for dinners by candlelight.

Free to try: 10 cards to start, then 2 new cards every day. One payment removes the daily limit and unlocks every theme, forever. No subscription.

No account, no ads, no tracking, no internet. What is said at your table stays at your table.
