Aplikacija SOS za gluve predstavlja zvaničnu aplikaciju Gradske organizacije gluvih Beograda koja se razvijena u saradnji sa Kancelarijom za IT i eUpravu koja služi da olakša komunikaciju i svakodnevno funkcionisanje gluvih i nagluvih osoba.
Aplikacija omogućava korisniku video poziv i čet sa tumačem srpskog znakovnog jezika, koji paralelno prevodi korisnika, odnosno razgovara telefonskim putem sa traženom osobom ili institucijom. Korisnik takođe ima mogućnost da zakaže termin za usluge tumača srpskog znakovnog jezika, kreira spisak svojih najčešće pozivanih kontakata, kao i da pogleda pregled komunikacije sa tumačem.
Da bi korisnik nesmetano koristio aplikaciju, neophodno je da se registruje unošenjem svog broja mobilnog telefona. Nakon registracije, korisnik svaki sledeći put pristupa aplikaciji bez prijave na istom uređaju. U slučaju prijave na drugi uređaj ili web aplikaciju, nije potrebna registracija, već samo prijava putem broja mobilnog telefona.
