SPT - Simple Public Transit

SPT (Simple Public Transit) helps you get around Sofia and Zürich with public transport maps, routes, stops and departure times.

In Sofia, follow live buses, trams and trolleybuses on the map and check departure updates. Metro vehicle positions are estimated from the timetable.

In Zürich, explore local services, including S-Bahn and regional rail. Departures use official live predictions where matched, current data is available, including delays, cancellations and skipped stops. Estimated vehicle positions account for validated live delays, but are not GPS tracking. If live predictions are unavailable, SPT falls back to the timetable. Journey planning remains timetable-based. Official ZVV line colours and available route geometry, including validated S-Bahn rail paths, are used where matching data is available; some services still use straight connections between stops.

You can:
• switch between Sofia and Zürich in Settings
• find nearby stops with departure previews and walking distances
• plan journeys to stops, places or a location selected on the map
• browse transit routes and see the stops for each direction
• tap a vehicle to see its trip details, next stop and departure times
• check live delays and cancellations where the selected city's data supports them
• save favourite lines and filter the map to show those services
• search for stops by name or code
• see official service alerts and planned route changes for Sofia
