Startklar

The task is not big. Starting it is.

Startklar does one thing. It turns something you have been putting off into a first physical step, and gets you through one short sprint on it.

HOW IT GOES

Write down the thing you are avoiding. Startklar offers a few first steps small enough to actually begin, or you write your own. Too big? Ask for smaller. Then pick a length and press Start.

The step sits on your lock screen with a countdown, and it rings through silent mode and a Focus, because a sprint you cannot hear is a sprint you will miss.

When it ends you say what happens next: five more minutes, the next step, or enough for now. When the task itself is finished, you say that too. Startklar never decides for you that something is done.

ON YOUR DEVICE

Step suggestions are generated on your device by Apple Intelligence. Your tasks, steps and sprints are stored on your device and nowhere else. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no server. Delete the app and everything it stored goes with it.

WHAT IT COSTS

The loop is free, as often as you like: write it down, pick a step, sprint, say what happened. One round of step suggestions a day is free too. Pro lifts that limit, as a subscription or as a one-time purchase.

German and English, both written natively. iPhone only.
