Stemly Remote is a free companion app. It connects to the Stemly app running on a host iPad and lets you control it from a distance.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Start (PLAY) and stop (STOP) playback with one tap
• Browse the playlists and songs loaded in Stemly
• Select a song to load it on the host
• Navigate the list alphabetically (A–Z)
• Preview the lyrics of the selected song in a large, readable size
• Connect several remotes at once
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Stemly on the host iPad.
2. Open Stemly Remote on your iPhone or iPad.
3. It connects automatically within a few seconds. No IP address, no pairing code.
Works on the same Wi-Fi network or within Bluetooth range. Instead of a router you can use a hotspot, but on stage we recommend your own 5 GHz router.
RECOMMENDATION FOR LIVE SHOWS
For live performances we recommend operating Stemly directly on the iPad, because wireless networks at venues can be unreliable and congested. If you want to use the remote, bring your own good-quality 5 GHz router dedicated to your gear. Do not rely on the venue's Wi-Fi.
REQUIREMENTS
• iPhone or iPad with iOS 17.6 or later
• The Stemly app running on the host iPad (Stemly Remote does not work on its own)
The song list and lyrics shown in the app come from your own library in Stemly. Stemly Remote contains no songs or lyrics.
