Studio You

Shake up traditional PE lessons and make staying active fun by pressing play on new disciplines like yoga, dance, boxing and combat.
Funded by Sport England and powered by this Girl Can, Studio You is a video lesson platform developed using insight from PE teachers and girls within KS3 and KS4 with the goal of improving confidence and fitness and making being active fun. Each lesson video is led by a range of diverse on-screen instructors who guide students through basic technique and motivate them to keep moving.
The Studio You app allows teachers to assign video lessons to students for homework, remote working or as extra activities so they can be accessed offline and in any location.
It is recommended that young people engage in physical activity for an average of 60 minutes a day over the week, but just 42% of girls aged 11-16 are achieving this*. Too many young people are dropping out of physical activity during their teenage years and missing out on the benefits it can bring to both physical and mental health in the long term. Studio You features accessible and inspirational activities designed to appeal to teenage girls as well as ideas to shake up a typical PE lesson.
