Sutrah: Prayer App Blocker

Sutrah holds distracting apps at each adhan and opens them again after Quran or dhikr.

Pick the apps that steal your attention. At Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, Sutrah holds them for you. Read Quran for a few minutes or complete your dhikr to open them for the time you chose.

SPACE FOR SALAH
- Choose apps or categories with Apple's Screen Time picker.
- Automatic prayer holds, deep-focus sessions and schedules that run on your phone.
- Prayer times for twelve calculation methods, including Tehran (Jafari), Hanafi Asr and per-prayer adjustments.
- Adhan reminders, Hijri date, qibla compass, and suhoor/iftar times in Ramadan.

YOUR QURAN, AT YOUR PACE
- Bundled Uthmani text, transliteration and 21 translation editions across 18 languages.
- Flow or page layouts, adjustable text and themes, two-translation comparison and resume reading.
- Seven streamed reciters, adjustable speed, ayah repeats and auto-next.
- Word meanings, attributed translation notes, topical verses and short practice. Full tafsir opens its scholarly source.
- Private ayah notes stay on your phone.
- Bundled Quran text and translations work offline; audio and online study sources need internet.

A STEADIER READING HABIT
- Set daily goals in ayat, minutes or page equivalents. Confirm ayat as you finish them; opening a page does not mark it read.
- Reading history, streaks, pauses, challenges for seven or thirty reading days, and milestones.
- Add clearly labeled reading from a physical mushaf or another app.
- Haptic tasbih, a dua journal and weekly progress cards.

OPTIONAL ENCOURAGEMENT
- Weekly personal reflections with Claude and one adjustable goal. You can choose a weekly goal offline too.
- Private invitation-only Quran circles. Share your weekly reading totals when you choose, or enable a reading-now indicator for accepted members.
- Hosts approve members. Report concerns, block members or leave a circle.
- Cloud features need internet, separate permission and supported iPhone app verification. They do not measure faith or guarantee reward.

SUTRAH PRO
Prayer times, Quran reading, tasbih and personal activity logs are available free. Sutrah Pro supports continued development and includes:
- Live Activity countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Accountability partner: a prefilled message to someone you trust if you end a session early.
Choose a yearly plan, a lifetime purchase or a weekly plan. Apple confirms pricing, trial eligibility and terms before purchase. Offer codes can have their own free period and renewal terms. Cancel subscriptions any time in Settings.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No ads or required sign-in. No analytics or advertising SDKs.
- Personal logs, dua journal and ayah notes stay on your phone. Optional reflections send recorded activity totals to Sutrah's service and Claude. Circles separately share chosen names, memberships and reading progress.
- Review what is shared before allowing it. Reading presence is another optional choice. Stop updates or request deletion of optional server data in Settings.
- Location is used for prayer times and qibla; choose a city instead if you prefer. Apple manages Screen Time permission and local shields.
