THE UDHAAR BOOK

Most sales are not settled in full on the day. SwarnaPro keeps that running balance for you.

Record what the customer paid on the save screen and the remainder becomes udhaar against their name. Open the Udhaar tab to see everyone who owes you, with the most overdue at the top. Record payments as they come in, and send a polite WhatsApp reminder when one is late. Customers who have paid ahead show separately, so money you hold is never mistaken for money you are owed.

Balances from before you installed the app can be entered by hand, so day one is not a blank page.

THREE CALCULATION MODES

Old Gold Purchase
Value a customer's old gold instantly — weight, purity (24K, 22K, 18K, 14K), rate and wastage, with a breakdown you can show across the counter.

New Jewellery Sale
Full costing including gold cost, making charges (percentage, per-gram or flat), wastage, diamonds and GST.

Exchange
The one that takes longest on paper. Old gold credit and new jewellery cost together, ending in the exact balance to pay or return. GST is applied to the making charges and any diamonds, never to the gold your customer trades in — the way an exchange should be billed.

DIAMOND CALCULATION

Price studded jewellery stone by stone. Each diamond is its own row — weight in carats, rate per carat, and the quality picked from your own saved list. Add as many stones as the piece has.

Keep your grades in Settings. Save a rate against a quality and it fills in on every bill, and you can still change it while negotiating. The quotation your customer receives lists every diamond separately, instead of one combined figure.

PROFESSIONAL QUOTATIONS

Generate a PDF quotation carrying your shop name, GST number and terms, and share it over WhatsApp before the customer leaves.
