Syrup Golf Log + Video Call

The next round is already counting down.

Syrup is a private golf log for the rounds you play, the practice in between, and the clubs in your bag. Book a round and the home screen starts counting the days. Play it, enter every hole, and the round moves on to its recap, where the thing that cost you the most strokes becomes an issue to work on. That issue follows you to the range until you can mark it as beaten. The log is yours from the first entry; the people you choose to follow come later.

- Days to Go, Strokes to Count
Your next round sits at the top of the home screen as a countdown, with the packing list right under it so balls, glove, tees, and rain gear are ticked off before you leave. On the day, enter strokes and putts hole by hole with big steppers you can hit with a thumb, and pick the club you used off the tee if you want it remembered. Each round moves through four stages: booked, preparing, played, and reviewed.

- Four Ledgers in One Book
Rounds, practice sessions, clubs, and issues each have a ledger, and they point to each other. A practice session lists the issue it worked on, an issue names the round it came from, and a club shows how many rounds it has been through. Issues have three stages of their own, from found, to in practice, to overcome, so the home screen always shows what you are working on right now. A calendar marks the days you booked and the days you played.

- Numbers You Can Turn Around
The home screen keeps your five-round average, average putts, and best score in view with a small trend line. Tap through to the stats page for a 3D bar chart you can spin with a finger, average strokes split by par 3, par 4, and par 5, a line of your putts over time, and a podium for your three best rounds. Weekly practice adds up as well: balls hit, minutes spent, and what it cost.

Twenty-five official guide videos cover scoring, putting, the range, club choices, and getting ready for the day, laid out as a poster wall you can browse by category. Eight are free. The other seventeen unlock with points, and every new account starts with 250 of them. Each one comes with a long written guide beneath the player. Picture in Picture keeps the video playing while you go back to your log.

- The Fairway
The Fairway opens on your talks, with chips for what is unread, what is waiting on a reply, and what came in this week. Look up a friend by their eight-character ID, browse the rounds and practice sessions they have shared, and follow the ones whose records you like. Once they follow you back, a one-to-one message thread and a video call open up from their profile. Each shared record carries its own button to call its owner about it, so there is always something to talk about, and you can simply sit back and watch how they swing. Your own records reach the Fairway only when you switch publishing on, and they appear after a review. Every record has a message board, and any post, profile, or message can be reported or blocked.
