Taste matching compares your ratings only with people who rated the same restaurants. When rating patterns align, Tabekoi shows their highly rated places—helping you discover food through compatible palates instead of an anonymous crowd average. Public matching uses random fruit names, and you can turn it off at any time.

Tabekoi uses your iCloud account automatically for private sync when available. There is no separate Tabekoi password. Anonymous taste matching, friend sharing, analytics, and location are independently controllable.
