Tabello does the math for splits that aren't actually even. Someone arrives late on a trip. The non-drinker skips the bar tab. A couple settles as one unit. Each case works automatically — no spreadsheet, no manual workaround.
— HOW THE SPLITS WORK —
Pro-rating by dates
Trip Friday to Sunday, but Alex arrives Saturday morning? Tabello pro-rates Alex's share.
Category opt-out
Non-drinker on the trip? One toggle and the bar tab redistributes to everyone else. They're back in for the next group dinner.
Settlement groups
Traveling as a couple, or splitting bills as a household? Group yourselves into a single settlement unit. Instead of four transfers between two pairs, one household pays the other.
Per-category split policies
Rent 60/40 because the rooms are different sizes. Utilities 50/50. Groceries 55/45. Tabello remembers the ratio per category. Change a policy and past expenses recalculate.
— EVERY WAY TO SPLIT —
Even, pro-rated, manual weights, manual values, proportional to subtotal, and per-expense overrides. Whatever the situation needs.
— THE EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS —
Scan a receipt
Point your camera at a restaurant bill or store receipt. Tabello extracts the line items; you assign dishes to whoever ordered them. Tax and tip distribute proportionally to each person's subtotal.
Connect your bank (US & Canada accounts)
Link via Plaid and import real transactions. No manual entry, no exporting CSVs from your bank's website.
Add people before they sign up
Friends get a secure invite link with their balance already waiting. They can see expenses in the browser — no install required, no account needed.
Multi-currency
Log expenses in any currency, view balances in yours. Real-time exchange rates.
Optimized settle-up
The minimum number of payments to zero everyone out.
Private trackers and roles
Mark a tracker as private. Share it read-only when you want people to see balances but not change them, or invite contributors with full edit access.
— BUILT FOR —
Trips with mismatched arrival and departure dates.
Households where the rooms aren't the same size.
Couples and families who'd rather settle as one.
Roommates with recurring rent, utilities, and groceries.
Groups where not everyone shares every category.
