Description by Islamic Science College(from the App Store)
Taleem-ul-Quran is a calm, ad-free way to read, understand, and listen to the Qur'an — designed for unhurried, focused reading.
The complete mushaf is paired with Urdu and English translation and classical tafseer, so meaning is always one tap away. Whether you are reading, memorising, or simply listening, everything is built around the Arabic text being beautiful and clear.
• THE QUR'AN — The full Qur'an in clear Indo-Pak script, with a dedicated mushaf page view.
• TRANSLATION — Urdu translation alongside Saheeh International English. Show one or both as you read.
• TAFSEER — Taleem-ul-Quran tafseer in Urdu, rendered for comfortable long-form reading, with highlights you can save.
• RECITATION — Listen to renowned reciters including Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Abdurrahman As-Sudais, Saud Al-Shuraim, Maher Al-Muaiqly, and Mohamed Siddiq al-Minshawi. Background playback and lock-screen controls included. Audio is cached as you listen, so played surahs work offline.
• LEARN QUR'AN (KIDS) — A gentle word-by-word practice mode with Sheikh Al-Minshawi reciting and children echoing — perfect for young learners and hifz revision.
• PRAYER TIMES — Accurate prayer times computed on your device, with selectable calculation methods, madhab, and manual adjustments to match your local mosque.
• QIBLA COMPASS — Find the direction of the Ka'bah from your location.
• AZKAR — Seven categories of daily duas and remembrances.
• DAILY-AYAH HABIT — Optional reminders that bring a verse to you through the day, with quiet hours so you're never disturbed at night.
• BOOKMARKS & SEARCH — Save verses, highlight tafseer, and search the Qur'an by reference, word, or natural language.
• BILINGUAL — A fully bilingual interface in English and Urdu, with proper right-to-left layout.
• FOUR THEMES — Light, sepia, dark, and night reading themes.
