TalkScenes brings language learning into everyday life.

Built around real-life situations, TalkScenes places more than 11,000 practical sentences, useful expressions, linear dialogues and interactive branching scenes in meaningful context. Listen closely, understand, repeat aloud and make choices as you gradually learn to think in your target language and communicate with confidence.

Choose from 12 learning languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian, Italian and Danish. Your learning target and your interface and translation language can be selected independently, so you can create the combination that works for you.

Text-based learning content is included with the app. All 12 high-quality audio packs, including English, are optional downloads available without a subscription. Download only the languages you need and use the recordings offline afterward. Without a downloaded pack, playback uses system text-to-speech; available voices depend on your device. No registration or sign-in is required. Favorites, learning progress and settings stay on your device.

Start with 128 free lessons, including all 35 Foundations lessons. A Premium subscription unlocks the complete scene library and advanced playback features across all 12 learning languages. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and renew automatically. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account subscription settings, or restore purchases from the app settings.
