Tama: Matcha Tracker & Recipes

Tama keeps your matcha tins, recipes, brewing history and tasting notes together. Track what's open, remember how you made each bowl, and learn what you like.

Know what you own
Add a tin with its name, weight and price. Every bowl you make comes off the tin, so you always know about how much is left, how long it's been open and what each bowl costs. Freshness labels point you to the tin to drink first. Take a photo and Tama cuts the tin out of the picture, so your shelf looks like yours.

Remember how you made it
Start from your last bowl, a saved recipe or one of three starting points: usucha, koicha or a latte. Adjust the matcha, water and temperature for each bowl, and a calm timer walks you through cooling the water, sifting, whisking and finishing. It can let you know when the water has cooled.

Learn what you like
Rate a bowl with a few leaves, pick the tasting words that fit and add a note if you want to. The Journal shows your month at a glance, what you drank this week and what each bowl cost.

Write matcha by hand
Learn the two characters of 抹茶. Watch each stroke, trace it, then write it on your own. Short notes explain the three ways to make matcha and how to find a recipe you like.
