UNDERSTAND EVERY SENTENCE
• AI translation of words in context, into 24 languages.
• Press and hold to select a phrase of up to eight words and translate it.
• Every word you save keeps the sentence you found it in, and stays marked on the page with its translation.
• Highlights, notes, bookmarks, and quote cards to share.
LISTEN AS YOU READ
• AI narration in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese; the English voices sound the most natural.
• Each word lights up as it's spoken, so you can read and listen at the same time.
• Narrated chapters stay on your iPhone and play offline.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: reading, 20 word translations a day (each with its sentence translated), and one minute of narration in every book.
Premium: unlimited translations, more meanings of each word, passages longer than eight words, and 15 hours of narration a month.
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads and no tracking. Translation runs on Tapread's server; narration is made by AI voices on rented GPU servers. Your book files stay on your device. Saved words, notes and bookmarks sync through your own iCloud. Signing in is optional.
