Tazzina remembers every brew you make and walks you through dialing in a new one. It gives you the control experts expect and the confidence beginners need. Espresso, pour-over, immersion, or stovetop, with your bag and roaster front and center.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan your coffee bag to find the bean.
2. Save a brew with your dose, grind, water, and tasting notes.
3. Dial in with guided steps, or on your own.
SAVE EVERY BREW
- Keep a brew for every bean, brewer, dose, and grinder you use.
- Save more than one brew per bean. Pull it as espresso today, brew it on a V60 tomorrow.
- Each brew holds your dose, grind, water or yield, ratio, temperature, and tasting notes.
- Brew history keeps every past attempt, so you can go back to the one that worked.
EVERY WAY YOU BREW
- Brew espresso, pour-over, immersion, and stovetop.
- Pick your exact brewer from 20 models, so each brew is tuned to it.
- V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex, Origami, AeroPress, French Press, Moka Pot, Vietnamese Phin, Siphon, and more.
DIAL IN, GUIDED OR MANUAL
- Guided dial-in asks how your last cup tasted and tells you what to change next, one step at a time.
- Manual mode hides the steps when you already know your way around.
- Track water temperature alongside dose, grind, and yield.
200+ GRINDERS
- Choose from 200+ grinders and dial in with your grinder's real numbers.
- Add more than one grinder. Each grind setting stays tied to the grinder it was dialed on.
- Calibrate a grinder so its brews line up with everyone else's, translated back to your own numbers.
- Adjust your dose to match a bean's density, up to a couple of grams.
- Scale a brew up or down and hold the same ratio.
KNOW YOUR BEANS
- Scan a coffee bag and jump straight to that bean.
- See a bean's origin, roast level, process, tasting notes, and more.
- A freshness curve shows whether a bean is resting, peaking, or past its best, tuned to the bean's roast level.
- A grind nudge reminds you to grind finer as your beans age or when a bag sits a while without a brew, and updates your brew when you open a fresh bag.
ORGANIZE YOUR WAY
- Group beans into collections by taste, brew style, or mood.
- Favorite the beans you loved so you can buy them again.
- Archive a finished bag and keep its brew for when you rebuy.
- Sort your beans by freshness, so the ones to brew next come first.
SHARE COFFEE
- Share a bean, a brew, or a whole collection as a link, or save it as an image to post anywhere.
- A shared brew carries every setting, with the grind translated to the other person's grinder.
- Saved collections stay live. Add or reorder beans and everyone who saved it sees the update.
- Open a roaster's profile to find their coffees on Tazzina.
A STARTING POINT FOR A NEW BAG
- Tazzina suggests a starting point for a new bag based on the bean itself, so you are never starting from zero.
- As people dial in the same bean, their brews refine the suggestion.
- When enough data is available, the grind size is translated to your own grinder, so you know where to begin.
BREW FROM ANYWHERE
- Home screen and lock screen widgets show your current bean, brew, and freshness.
- Check your beans and brews on Apple Watch.
- Open a brew, scan a bag, or search from Control Center, the Lock Screen, or Siri.
- Built for iPhone and iPad.
FREE, PRIVATE, NO ADS
- Tazzina is free. Every feature is included.
- No ads, no pop-ups.
- Your data is never sold to advertisers or data brokers.
- Your library works offline and syncs across your devices when you are back online.
