ABOUT THE DOWNLOAD SIZE
The app is large because the maps are inside it. That is the whole point. Once it is installed, nothing about navigation needs a connection.

SAFETY
This app is not a safety tool. It does not replace proper safety equipment, including notes, maps and a personal locator beacon, and it is not a substitute for preparing properly for Te Araroa. Being prepared is your responsibility.
