Tearoff: AI Receipt Maker

"Can I get a receipt?"

A small question that makes a business look either organised or improvised. If the answer involves a biro and a torn page, you already know which.

Tearoff: AI Receipt Maker turns your phone into the receipt printer you never bought. Enter the sale, hand over something clean with your name and logo on it, and get back to the person waiting behind. Most take under fifteen seconds.

THREE WAYS TO MAKE ONE, BECAUSE HANDS ARE NOT ALWAYS FREE
Type it. A flat, fast form — no wizard, no six screens. The things you sell are remembered with their usual price, so the second receipt takes half as long as the first.

Scan it. Photograph a paper receipt or an order scribbled on a pad. The AI reads the seller, the line items, the tax and the totals, and marks anything it was unsure about rather than guessing. One tap confirms it.

Say it. "Two flat whites at four fifty and an almond croissant." Items, quantities and prices land in the form while your hands are busy. Nothing is saved until you have looked at it.

IT SHOULD SOUND LIKE YOUR TRADE, NOT LIKE ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
A café bills a Guest for an Order. A freelancer invoices a Client for Work done, by the Hour. A garage raises a Job against a Vehicle. Pick your trade when you set up — retail, grocery, café, salon, market stall, trades, freelance services — and every label on the document changes with it. Not happy with a word? Change it and save your version.

WHAT ENDS UP ON THE PAPER
Your logo, business name, address and tax number. The customer's details, kept so you do not type them twice. Any of 119 currencies, with the right symbol and decimal places. Tax rate and tax label set per receipt, so sales tax, VAT, GST or a service charge all read correctly. Discounts, tips, and whether it was paid, part-paid or is still owed. Receipt numbers that run in the order you decide.

THE ORDER YOU TAKE EVERY SINGLE MORNING
Save any receipt as a template — items, quantities, tax and notes kept, customer details left behind. The regular who orders the same thing every day becomes one tap, and the queue moves.

SEND IT THE WAY THEY ACTUALLY WANT IT
PDF or image, over WhatsApp, by email or text, or printed to any AirPrint printer. Files are named by receipt number, so a month of them is still findable in six months.

A RECORD THAT DOES NOT MOVE
Every receipt is kept exactly as it was sent. Put your prices up, reword your document, switch currency — none of it reaches backwards into receipts someone is already holding. Search by customer, date, amount or status to produce one again.

WHO IS ACTUALLY USING THIS
Shopkeepers and market traders writing cash receipts. Cafés and food stalls handing over POS receipts at the counter. Salons, barbers and nail technicians. Plumbers, electricians, painters and mobile mechanics raising work orders, quotes and estimates. Drivers, couriers and delivery rounds. Tutors, cleaners and photographers who need a simple invoice generator, not an accounting suite. Landlords writing rent receipts. Anyone who has ever torn a page out of a paper receipt book and wished it looked better.

FREE, AND WHAT COSTS MONEY
Free covers 20 receipts and 10 AI reads a month, with every export included — nothing is watermarked, nothing held back. Pro removes the limits: unlimited receipts, unlimited AI scanning and voice, and cloud backup so a lost phone is not a lost year.

Pro comes as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase that never renews. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and can be managed or cancelled in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before you buy anything.

Delete your account from inside the app, and everything on our servers goes with it.
