TEF Canada Prep: French Test

TEF Canada Prep: French Test is an independent, unofficial study app for the French language test used in Canadian permanent residence and citizenship applications. Practise all four papers — compréhension orale, compréhension écrite, expression écrite and expression orale — at the published timings, with 2,012 original French practice items written for this app.

A purchase is required to use this app. There is no free tier and no free sample content.

WHAT YOU GET
• 812 listening questions across 134 original recordings — announcements, micro-trottoir street interviews, conversations and rephrasing. Every recording is spoken on your own device, so it works offline. Replay it, slow it down, and read the full script the moment you answer.
• 589 reading questions across 68 original documents — short notices and classified ads, long articles, gap-fill texts and grammar and vocabulary in context.
• 48 expression écrite subjects — continue a news article in 80+ words, or justify your point of view in 200+ words. Live word counter and three model answers at NCLC 5, 7 and 9, with the notes that explain what separates one level from the next.
• 48 expression orale tasks across both sections — obtaining information in five minutes, then arguing to persuade in ten. Real clocks, on-device recording, instant playback and a full model answer.
• 515 vocabulary and grammar cards for everyday, workplace, administrative and civic French, each with a definition and an original example.

BUILT FOR THE ACTUAL EXAM
• Timed simulations at the published timings — 40 minutes for listening, 60 minutes for reading — with results held until the end, exactly as on test day.

No account, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no data collected. Answers, written responses and voice recordings never leave your device, and Reset Progress deletes them all. Fully offline.
