Tempo Tapper: BPM & MIDI

Tempo Tapper is a focused tempo utility for musicians, producers, engineers, DJs, and performers.

Tap the large tempo surface along with the music. Tempo Tapper smooths natural timing variations across your recent taps, responds when you intentionally change pace, and locks the result when the pulse becomes consistent. The clear, high-contrast display is designed to stay readable on a music stand, in a rehearsal room, or beside your equipment.

Useful timing values appear immediately. See common whole, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, dotted, and triplet delay times in milliseconds without reaching for a calculator.

When you already know the tempo, use Set Exact or the fine-adjustment controls. Your last tempo, settings, MIDI choices, and measurement state are restored when you return.

MIDI Clock support lets compatible music apps and connected equipment follow the displayed tempo. Tempo Tapper sends standard 24 PPQN clock with Start, Stop, and Continue controls. All available destinations are selected by default, and newly connected destinations are added automatically. MIDI can be disabled completely in Settings.
