TempoPay

TempoPay is a healthcare payment benefit offered through employers and health plans. It gives you access to funds to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses up front, then repay over time with 0% interest, no fees, and no credit checks. Using TempoPay never affects your credit score.

The TempoPay app is available to employees and health plan members at organizations that offer TempoPay as a benefit. If your employer offers TempoPay, download the app to activate your account and start using your card.

WHAT IS TEMPOPAY?
TempoPay works like a revolving account, similar to a credit card, but always interest-free with no fees. When you enroll, you get immediate access to a set spending amount for healthcare expenses. Charges are broken into a repayment schedule you control.

WHERE CAN I USE TEMPOPAY?
Use the TempoPay Visa card for:
• Doctor visits, specialists, and urgent care
• Prescriptions and pharmacy purchases
• Dental care and orthodontics
• Vision care, eyeglasses, and contact lenses
• Lab work, imaging, and diagnostics
• Therapy and mental health care
• Chiropractic and physical therapy
• Medical supplies and equipment
• Medical bills paid online or by phone
Some employer programs use different spending categories. Check the app or contact support with questions about your card.

HOW DO REPAYMENTS WORK WITH TEMPOPAY?
After a charge settles, a repayment plan is created based on your preferences. You choose your repayment timing, up to 12 months, aligned to your payroll cycle. Repay through automatic post-tax payroll deductions or connect a personal bank account. You can see every charge, plan, and payment in the app.

DOES TEMPOPAY AFFECT MY CREDIT?
No. TempoPay never checks your credit and never reports to credit bureaus. There is no interest, no late fees, and no cost to employees for using TempoPay.

CAN I USE TEMPOPAY WITH AN HSA OR FSA?
Yes. TempoPay works alongside Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. Pay with TempoPay now and reimburse yourself from your FSA once it is funded, or keep HSA contributions invested while spreading expenses over time.
