Tempus follows a clear objective: Study to earn screen time.

Tempus converts each mundane study session into a flight, allowing you to pick a subject, choose how long and tear the boarding pass to depart. The apps you chose to block stay closed while you fly and if you leave the app or pick your phone up, the flight diverts and pays nothing. It is simple: the only way to earn is to actually study.

Each completed flight earns miles, earning genuine screen time on the apps you blocked; Finish a set of practice questions and then enjoy fifteen minutes on Instagram. You are fully in control, deciding when redemption happens and what is unlocked.

Flying adds up, with every flight printing a boarding pass with its own livery, and your passes stacked into a record of where you have been. Hours you fly moves you through five tiers, from Essential to Founders, with each having its own card and a better earn rate.

Tagging a friend along is also an option with Tempus’ shared account. Sharing allows you to contribute and withdraw from one unified bank of miles.

Business Class is an optional yearly subscription with a seven day free trial. It raises the earn multiplier, opens a locked cabin for flights where one lapse ends the session, unlocks the flight log, which tracks your hours by subject and shows when you fly best, and opens the Concourse, where miles are exchanged for card faces, pass headers and gift cards.
