Tetra – Box Breathing

Tetra guides box breathing with a simple animation. Let the movement of the orb guide you through inhale, hold, exhale, and hold, at a pace you choose.

Use it for a short pause between meetings, as part of a bedtime routine, or whenever you want to spend a few minutes on your breathing.

CHOOSE YOUR RHYTHM
Start with the standard 4-4-4-4 pattern, or choose Beginner (3-3-3-3), Focus (5-5-5-5), or Calm (6-6-6-6). Custom timing lets you set each phase from 2 to 10 seconds. Switch rhythms from the main screen without opening Settings.

SET YOUR SESSION LENGTH
Choose a number of cycles, a duration in minutes, or an open-ended session. Timed sessions finish the cycle in progress so they don't stop halfway through a breath.

FOLLOW THE MOVEMENT
The orb expands on the inhale and settles on the exhale. A four-part indicator shows where you are in the cycle. Haptic feedback follows each phase, with optional audio cues if you prefer them. The dark interface keeps the focus on the orb.

KEEP A SESSION RECORD
Review your sessions by day, with totals for sessions, minutes, and cycles. With your permission, Tetra can also save completed sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. Set an optional daily reminder for a time that suits you.

ACCESSIBILITY
Tetra supports VoiceOver with phase announcements, Reduce Motion, Differentiate Without Color, and Dynamic Type.

LANGUAGES
Tetra follows your device's language setting. Available in English, Turkish, Spanish, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.

PRIVACY
Tetra is free, with no ads, subscriptions, account, analytics, or tracking. Your session history stays on your device. Apple Health logging requires your permission, and Tetra does not read your Health data.
