Text Here Instead: No Contact

Breakups are hard. No contact is harder.

You want to text them.
You open the chat.
You type the message.

And then you wonder:

"Should I send this?"

That moment is exactly why this app exists. Because sometimes what you need is not contact. You need release.

BUILT FOR YOUR BREAKUP, WHATEVER YOU WANT NEXT

Not everyone starts no contact with the same goal.

You can choose your journey whether you want to:

• Get your ex back
• Heal and move on
• Or simply don't know yet

You do not need to have your future figured out today.

If you want your ex back, give yourself space to stop reacting from panic and start thinking clearly. No contact allows reality to set in and gives you the best shot at turning things around.

If you want to move on, use the app to process the heartbreak, get through the urges, and slowly rebuild your life around you again.

If you don't know yet, that's okay too. Focus on getting through today without sending the message you may regret tomorrow.

YOUR PRIVATE SPACE AFTER A BREAKUP

Breakup recovery can be messy.

One minute you feel strong.
The next you are checking your phone, replaying old conversations, missing your ex, wondering if they miss you too, or convincing yourself that one text will make everything feel better.

Text Here Instead gives that urge somewhere else to go.

Use it when you are:
• following the no contact rule
• fighting the urge to text your ex
• getting over a breakup or heartbreak
• trying to move on from your ex
• hoping to reconnect without chasing
• dealing with separation anxiety or loneliness
• processing a situationship or relationship ending
• looking for a private breakup journal

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Write (un)sent messages
Type exactly what you want to say to your ex without contacting them.

• Record voice notes
Say it out loud and keep the voice note private.

• Track your no contact streak
Watch the days build and avoid resetting your progress in an emotional moment.

• Remember why it ended
Save your reason for the breakup so you can return to it when nostalgia takes over.

• Get through the urge
Use quick 90-second pattern interrupts instead of opening their chat.

• Export your journey
Download your breakup journal and unsent messages to reflect on how your thoughts, triggers, emotions, and goals have changed over time. You can put this into your chosen AI model and analyse your progress or ask it to give you the next steps in your journey. You can also talk to your therapist with the summary of your journey so far.

WHY TEXT HERE INSTEAD?

Most breakup apps try to tell you how you should feel.

This one gives you somewhere to put what you already feel.

Anger.
Love.
Confusion.
Hope.
Regret.
The paragraph you rewrote six times.
The message you want to send at 2 AM.

Put it here instead.

No judgment. No need to be "over it." No need to pretend you do not care.

Just a private place to pause before acting.

PRIVACY MATTERS

Your breakup journal can contain some of the most personal things you will ever write.
That is why your messages are stored on your device. No sign up needed. Your unsent texts and voice notes are yours.

BUILT FROM A REAL BREAKUP

Text Here Instead exists because its founder needed this exact app after his own breakup.

Not another generic self-care app.
Just somewhere to put the message when sending it to your ex is probably not the move.

One day, you may realize you have stopped opening the app.

You stopped counting the hours.
You stopped drafting the text.
You stopped wondering what they are doing every minute.

That is the goal.

Built to be deleted.

Until then, when the urge hits:

Don't open their chat.
Open Text Here Instead.

Write it.
Feel it.
Keep your no contact.
Give yourself the space to decide what you truly want next.
