HONEST ABOUT ITS DATA

iOS doesn't expose true radio signal strength for Thread accessories, so ThreadMapper measures response quality instead — and labels it an estimate everywhere it appears. Mesh links are inferred routing unless you connect an OpenThread Border Router. The battery level is what each accessory reports about itself.

REQUIREMENTS

ThreadMapper reads your network through HomeKit, so you'll need a home with at least one Thread border router — a HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K or similar.
