You have just been hired as a tour director for the pioneer in time travel tourism, Time Travel Tours. You must put together the best possible tour of large and small US cities across all time periods, and by doing so, attract time travelers.
So we are taking out the "formerly Tourtown USA" and we are taking out the sentence which said "You’ll probably even win real cash prizes just by playing this free game with no in-app purchases."
However, you are competing against three other directors at Time Travel Tours. They want to attract more visitors to their tours than you attract to yours.
These tour directors are some of that city's most noteworthy residents from the past, and they don’t want to be shown up by a rookie like you.
They'll even try to sabotage your efforts, even if it means destroying history in the process. But you can do the same to them.
You'll need to use your skills and plenty of strategy to outbid your opponents for the exclusive rights to bring the best attractions, landmarks, legendary businesses, and historic events to your tour. The more exciting and significant you make it, the more time travelers you’ll attract.
As more people take your tour, the more money you will earn. Use this new cash to further enhance your tour portfolio. Be careful though - Spend too much early in the game, and more frugal tour directors could outbid you on something really appealing to the time travelers, who have not yet chosen a tour.
Be the first to attract 200 time travelers to your tour to win the game and be known as the best tour director for that city.
Keep track of your overall rank, and your progress in each city, on the leaderboards. Watch the map change color as you play every city in a state.
