Time Traveler: World Clock

Time Traveler puts the world's time on one screen, and lets you travel through it.

Turn any clock and every other clock follows. Check whether London is still awake, find a good hour to call Tokyo, or see what tomorrow morning looks like in Sydney, all with one thumb. When you get there, the same turn converts currency, temperature, speed, and weight.

TURN TIME
• Drag any clock to move time forward or back, a minute at a time or in steps of 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• The clock you turn wears the orange ring.
• Double-tap to snap back to now.
• Triple-tap a city to change it.

THE WORLD AT A GLANCE
• Each face takes the color of the sky in its city: blue by day, gold at sunset, near black at night.
• A small sun shows where the sun is in that city's day, with noon at the top. At night it becomes a moon.
• +1 and −1 show which cities are a day ahead of or behind the clock you're turning.
• Every face shows its time, its UTC offset, and whether it's on daylight saving time.
• 12- or 24-hour time, and an optional 24-hour dial with noon at the top.

A REAL SKY
Behind the clocks is the sky for your time zone: thousands of real stars, the Milky Way, the sun, and the moon in its actual phase, all moving as you turn time.

CONVERTERS FOR THE TRIP
Tap the arrows above LOCAL and the clocks become four dials: currency, pounds and kilograms, mph and km/h, and °F and °C. Turn either side and the other follows.
• Currency starts with your home currency and the one where you are, so landing in Tokyo shows yen. Triple-tap to choose from more than 150 currencies.
• Exchange rates update about once a day when you're online, and the last ones keep working offline.
• Temperature starts at the average for your city this month.
• Triple-tap weight or speed for other units: ounces, grams, stones, knots, or meters per second.
• The screen takes the color of what you dial: frost to heat, city to highway speed, mint to gold as money grows.

LOCAL sits under your thumb with UTC beside it. Choose left- or right-handed, and everything stays in reach.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
The clocks, the sky, and the unit converters work fully offline, using your iPhone's own time zone data. The currency converter checks for new exchange rates about once a day and sends nothing about you. No account, no tracking, no data collected. It never asks for your location: LOCAL follows your iPhone's time zone.
