TimePacer: Meeting Talk Timer

TimePacer is a timer for people who have to finish on time.

Set a planned duration for each agenda item and TimePacer works out when every item should start and end. While you present, it shows more than the countdown for the item in front of you: it shows whether you are ahead or behind for the talk as a whole. That is the number you actually need on stage.

WHILE YOU PRESENT
• Countdown for the current agenda item
• Progress bar that turns yellow near the end and red once you overrun
• Overall time in hand or time lost, to the second
• The clock time you should finish this item by
• Every item's status at a glance: done, running, not started

WHEN YOU CAN'T LOOK AT YOUR IPHONE
You can't hunch over a phone mid-talk. TimePacer puts the time somewhere you can actually see it.

• Apple Watch — your remaining time and overall pace, mirrored on your wrist. Advance to the next item, pause, or start early straight from the Watch. A haptic taps you at 60 seconds left and again when you overrun, so you don't even need to look.
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island — the countdown stays on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, visible even while another app is driving your slides.
• Notifications — close the app and you'll still be told when each item is up.

THREE WAYS TO BUILD AN AGENDA
• Type it in — name, duration, and notes
• Scan an image — point it at a screenshot or photo of your agenda slide and AI pulls out the items, durations, and start time
• Paste text — lines like "10:00-10:15 Opening" or "Intro 5 min" just work, including 24-hour, AM/PM, and Japanese time formats

SAVE THE AGENDAS YOU REUSE
Name and save a recurring meeting or a talk you give often, then load it next time. Start it from a Home Screen widget, or ask Siri and Shortcuts to run it.

REVIEW AFTERWARDS
When you finish, TimePacer shows planned versus actual for every item and the overall difference. Sessions are kept in a history, so patterns become visible — like the demo that always runs long.

NO TIME REALLOCATION
TimePacer deliberately won't push your lost minutes onto later items. If the finish time keeps moving, you can't plan around it. Instead it holds the original schedule and tells you honestly how much room you have left. What to cut is your call.
